  • Located in southeast Washington State, extends partly into the northeastern corner of Oregon. Lies within the larger Columbia Valley AVA.
  • Named after the Walla Walla (means "rapid stream" or "many waters) people who lived along the shores of the Walla Walla River at its junction with the Snake River and the Columbia River.
  • Second highest concentration of vineyards and wineries in Washington State after Yakima Valley AVA.

  • What can I say? This is a perfect year for Syrah at Spring Valley Vineyard. Long hang time makes for amazing quality fruit on the vines. An elegant nose with the traditional wheat harvest effect for those who dont understand this, just come visit Spring Valley sometime. The mouth feel is full of ripe berries, a mlange of summer fruits, and fresh baked vanilla and berry cobbler. The tannins are sweet with a long, generous finish I love this wine.
